Responsibilites

SALES STRATEGY

1.Lead and oversee sales & business activities for APC product range in China.

2.Develop and maintain key account business with integrators and feed mills. Maintain good relationship with existing customers and identify a strong pipeline of opportunities

3.Selection/ screening and appoint new distributors for potential provinces. Ability to manage, motivate and train distributors/agents

4.Knowledge to promote specialty ingredients and ability to demonstrate value / return on investment

5.Working knowledge in Swine, Poultry and Aqua industry in Chinese market. Ability to be a door opener to initiate new application business and having relationship with key decision makers will be an added advantage

6.Formulate commercial strategies to achieve agreed sales, margin, credit management goals for China

7.Formulate and implement the strategic roadmap for growing APC’s business in China, including channel management.

8.Negotiate prices and maintain margins in line with regional objectives

MARKETING STRATEGY

1.Implement suitable product positioning within global product framework and define focused development goals for China

2.Ensure good understanding of customer needs, market conditions and competitor activities to develop product and channel strategies

3.Work closely with regional and global colleagues to get necessary support

4.Develop marketing communication plan through advertisements, exhibitions, seminars, mailings and other promotional activities

Qualifications

This job requires the mental capabilities to apply business and technical skills surrounding various species application and product application. Furthermore, the incumbent should understand market requirements, identify opportunities and disseminate product information, help technical and marketing to develop plans/strategies for business development.

1.Academic degree in Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Science or Business management or Marketing exposure with a passion for the animal nutritional industry

2.Around 5-10 years of relevant sales & marketing experience in animal nutrition B2B industry in China
3.Commercial drive, hands-on, can do attitude with good communication skills
4.Multicultural sensitivity and language fluency in Chinese and English
