Job Description
 Responsibilities: Under the direction of General Manager, the Government Relations
Manager leads the government relations function of China. The ideal candidate executes a
comprehensive and proactive strategy that supports company’s business and goals with
ministerial, local and regional government officials.
 Develop strategic and sustainable strategy and plan of government relations by establishing
positive relationship and cooperation with central government and different levels of
government across China.
 Execute strategy or plans to enable policy development and support co-operative growth
 Conduct research and analysis of government policies and regulations, get the policy insight
and interpret the indication to senior management and core functions; advocate for the
benefit of overall industry
 Understand and where possible influence policy, regulation and /or industry standard setting.
 Manage legislative tracking process; identifying, analyzing and tracking legislation and
regulations in in central government or agricultural ministry or associations that impact the
rules and practice of feed additive industry;
 Participate in industry groups focused on trade and new and changing product classifications;
 Support and represent company to conduct meetings and deliver speech at industrial
conferences
 Provide expert guidance and advice to senior management and internal stakeholders on
policy or regulatory change.

Qualifications

Requirements:
 Bachelor’s degree or above in related discipline;
 Above 10 years of working experience in government relations field, preferably in agriculture
related area in embassy, also working experience gained in multi-national organizations or
Government Relations Manager
overseas studying experience
 Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese with
the ability to draft briefings and present proposals at the most senior level.
 Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building and
maintaining personal relationships internally and externally.
 Ability to leverage external government interactions across different business needs
 Ability to collaborate with and influence others
 Self-motivated and likes to work in a team
