Responsible for gathering, structuring, analyzing, and distributing relevant market, customer and competitive information for the business segment.
Creating dashboards based on key MI (Market Intelligence), BI (Business Intelligence) and CI (Competitive Intelligence) metrics.
Providing regular reports to management and corporate on the status of the market, the competition, and key developments on the market.
Setting up and monitoring a value proposition process and supporting project teams on creating and maintaining the VPS throughout the life cycle of the product.
For this you work closely with sales and development in order to translate market, customer and competition information.
Providing insight for the business strategy (sales strategy, service strategy etc.).
Supporting the product manager with relevant information concerning their product portfolio.
Close co-operation with key stakeholders on management and operational level, including management, sales, marketing, and product development.
The MIO identifies trends and scenarios for the future based on reports and external events.

Skills and Abilities

Strong analytical skills, able to extrapolate and interpret answers from various sources.
Result oriented, and focused on quality.
Affinity with technology and the food processing industry.
Ability to work independently and in multinational teams.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Sales force, or other CRM system, a benefit.

Education, and Experience

Advanced degree (MA/MS/MBA/PhD) in business, economics, or other related field.
Extensive experience in analyzing market data and communicating results.
Experience with and comfort working in multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization is an advantage.
Strong English skills, both written and verbal.
Occasional travel required.
