Sales

Achieve budgeted volumes, selling prices & margin contribution.
 Ensure effective selling price changes are implemented as and when required.
 In conjunction with the Technical/development staff ensure all products and services are utilized to the optimum with customers and prospects.
 Assist the Regional Vice President in development of territory/country/regional sales and marketing strategies.
 Operate an effective Key Account Management and Development program.
Sales Manager – Korea & Japan
 Use the company CRM tool – Salesforce.com to manage customer interactions and the territory sales pipeline, ensuring the optimum number of opportunities are being driven to closed/won.
 Fully utilize the company sales process in all sales situations
 Actively pursue new lead generation, convert them into opportunities & follow them through to closed/won using the company sales process, timelines and stage gates
 Within an agreed framework submit sales forecasts, business development strategies & budgets to the Regional Vice President
 Ensure workloads are prioritized to enable “in-field” new business development and customer account management to take priority.
 Range sell at every opportunity and successfully launch new products as & when required

Account Management

Personally manage and develop all customer/prospect accounts to achieve:- new business targets, optimization of selling prices and retention of business.
Prepare an account management plan for each account over a given size to include:
– Effective and value proposition based relationships with all key stakeholders involved in the purchasing decisions (DMU) around the prioritized company product portfolio
– Customer retention
– Business development plans for the customer account covering – which product, timescales, marketing support and resources required etc.
– Effective co-ordination of the virtual account team that includes Market Development Managers & Customer Services/Support

Control

Ensure full compliance with new customer account opening procedures.
 Operate within company authorization levels, personnel policies, health & safety procedures and complaint procedures.
 Prepare proposals for the weekly/monthly forecasts and annual budget, to gain approval from the VP of South America.
 In conjunction with the Finance Team ensure all debtors are managed within agreed terms and credit limits.

Regulatory

Work with Regulatory & Business Development colleagues to ensure all products adhere to all state, federal and or country regulatory requirements.

Other

 Maintain network of contacts in all other allied industries\regulatory bodies, ensuring all key influencers’ are aware of company products/programs.
 Organize, manage and promote the company at all the appropriate external events.
 Carry out other ad-hoc duties/projects as maybe required from time to time.
 Take reasonable care for the health and safety of himself / herself and of other persons who may be affected by his/her acts or omissions at work.

Qualifications

 Degree or equivalent in field related to animal science
 Excellent written and spoken English language
 Successful & sustained track record in account management, business development, sales & marketing in the poultry/pig feed additive industry.
 Excellent local market, knowledge of the animal, feed/feed materials market and poultry/pig integrators.
 Knowledge & understanding of how a modern feed mill operates.
 Knowledge of TMR feeding & forage preservation.
 Working knowledge and successful utilization of Saleforce.com to drive sales growth.
 Highly developed account management/negotiation/selling skills.
 Ability to motivate fellow peers & colleagues
 Able to travel extensively and stay overnight when required.
