  • Achieve budgeted volumes, selling prices & margin contribution.
  • Ensure effective selling price changes are implemented as and when required.
  • In conjunction with the Technical/development staff ensure all products and services are utilized to the optimum with customers and prospects.
  • Assist the Regional Vice President in development of territory/country/regional sales and marketing strategies
  • Operate an effective Key Account Management and Development program.
  • Use the company CRM tool  to manage customer interactions and the territory sales pipeline, ensuring the optimum number of opportunities are being driven to closed/won.
  • Fully utilize the company sales process in all sales situations.
  • Actively pursue new lead generation, convert them into opportunities & follow them through to closed/won using the company sales process, timelines and stage gates.
  • Within an agreed framework submit sales forecasts, business development strategies & budgets to the Regional Vice President.
  • Ensure workloads are prioritized to enable “in-field” new business development and customer account management to take priority.
  • Range sell at every opportunity and successfully launch new products as & when required.



  • Excellent local market knowledge of the animal feed/feed materials market and poultry/pig integrators.
  • Knowledge & understanding of how a modern feed mill operates.
  • Knowledge of TMR feeding & forage preservation.
  • Successful & sustained track record in account management, business development, sales & marketing in the poultry/pig feed additiveindustry.
  • An in-depth practical knowledge of the feed or poultry or swine industry in South America, its structure and the key influencers.
  • Working knowledge to drive sales growth.
