Responsibilites

  • Working safely within the office and farm environments.
  • Production of monthly and annual sales and forecasting budget (volume and margin).
  • Maintaining regular contact with customers, ensuring needs are met.
  • Liaising between customers and a local Thailand Feed Mill
  • Coordinate regular management meetings with key accounts
  • Preparation of customer price review information and general agenda and meeting preparation / presentations.
  • Identify opportunities for new business and continuous improvement, report and discuss as relevant with Technical Project Manager, Sales, Feed Nutritionists, General Manager of Local Thailand Feed Mill.
  • Assess current marketing needs and develop marketing strategy for Thailand customers.
  • Minimize slow and obsolete inventory and take action to effectively mitigate any distressed stock issues.
  • Support farm and R&D trials and product development initiatives
  • Management and organization of aquaculture related conferences and representation for key account conferences
  • Manage merchandising materials and promotional materials inventory/distribution.
  • Comply with relevant OHS/WHS  legislation including:
    • Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of persons who may be affected by their actions (or omissions).
    • Co-operate with any reasonable instruction, policy and procedure.
    • Not intentionally (or recklessly) interfere with, or misuse anything provided at the workplace in the interests of health, safety or welfare; and
    • Identify and report all hazards, near misses, injuries, illnesses and incidents.

Qualifications

  • Minimum first degree in an Aquaculture related subject
  • Either a nutritional or farming background is mandatory
  • Sales or commercial aquaculture experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all staff and customers in various managerial positions
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written, in both Thai and English
