JOB PURPOSE Gabriel THIERRY

1. Responsible for the implementation of all sales activities for all products, spare parts and services, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory.
2. Develops and implements agreed Marketing Plan which will meet business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area.
3. Obtains sales market shares consistent with Company goals and market potential in an assigned territory
4. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.
5. Develops dealer network, organize sales and technical trainings, introduce product range as per Marketing Plan agreed with Sales Manager.
6. Keeps good knowledge of market situation such as trends, opportunities, competitors’ situation and provide on regular basis detailed reports to Sales Manager and General Manager.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES / DUTIES
STRATEGY

1. Support Sales Manager and Marketing Manager in recommending and implementing programs in the areas of sales & marketing, pricing, market and product/services acceptance research, and related activities for all products, spare parts and services in an assigned territory.
2. Forecast territory sales.
3. Support Sales Manager and Marketing Manager in developing long and short range strategies for sales growth in an assigned territory.
4. Provides on regular basis information/reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

SALES

1. Implement the agreed Sales & Marketing Plan
2. Sustains relationship with key accounts (such as Army Farms, Large Dairy Groups, Cooperatives) by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
3. Develop appropriate relationship with government officers
4. Support the subsidy program topics
5. Promote Company products at local, state, and national sales and industry shows/demonstrations.
6. Complete understanding of pricing (machines, spare parts and services) and models proposal.
7. Demonstrate the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.
8. Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors.
9. Sell consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.
10. Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of Client Satisfaction
11. Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
12. Aid customers in locating merchandise.
13. Communicate customer requests to management.
14. Solve customer product and service needs with required urgency

NETWORK

1. Assist Sales Manager in developing a sales distribution network of committed and aggressive dealers of all products, spare parts and services.
2. Together with Sales Manager, meet dealers during Annual Sales meetings to agree on goals, common business development strategies and action plans, follow-up actions.
3. Assist dealers in developing their businesses by providing the necessary products, tools & support.
4. Develop and/or oversee the development of material and/or conduct meetings for sales training and product education.
5. Use company tools on regular basis to report territory business, including sales volume, orders, inventory, credit.

SUPPORT MARKETING ACTIVITIES

1. Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
2. Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
3. In monitoring and reporting market trends in an assigned territory and identifying areas for additional sales opportunities through product improvements and/or new products.
4. In recommending new product development ideas.
5. Assist marketing function initiatives by identifying competitive new products, programs, and marketing efforts (including literature, pricing retail programs, etc.), as well as competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses.
6. Work closely with marketing department personnel to develop aggressive territory advertising campaigns. Support Sales Manager & Marketing Department in establishing an annual advertising budget for assigned territory.
7. Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees.
8. Actively support the subsidies application program by developing appropriate relationship with officers, getting latest information on new policies, planning applications and tests.

1. Understand the complete all product lines, spare parts and all service/replacement needs.
2. Continually strive to be the best Territory Manager in the industry

Qualifications

1. Education: Business, Agriculture or Mechanical background,

2. Experience:
• At least 5 years’ experience in farm machinery or tractor industry in Central China
• Experience in establishing and developing a professional dealer network
• Good technical understanding
• Experience of working for a foreign owned company would be a plus

3. Language:
• English Writing and Reading
• English Speaking would be a plus

4. Organized, dynamic, hardworking, good communication skills, able to work within a team

5. Ready to often travel in Inner Mongolia / Ningxia / Gansu/ Central China but also in other Provinces for exhibitions, training, meeting
