Big scale pasture established in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, annual raw milk output 8,000 tons

On 20th, Dec. 2013, Zhanjiang Yantang ANZ Pasture is built well and put in use, this ranch has 2,500 Holstein cattle and all are from New Zealand and Australia, annual raw milk output is expected to be 8,000 tons.

According to reports, this pasture is jointed venture by Guangdong Yantang Dairy Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries and Zhanjiang Zhanjiang Yantang Dairy Farming Development Co., Ltd. As a large ranch standardized milk base, the initial number of dairy herds up to 1,500, and in 2015 up to 2,000 cattle.

The Pasture is adopted throughout adopts the most advanced in Europe’s technical and management support system from Europe DeLaval pasture Management Company. The system will monitor all the work from milking to health monitoring, veterinary care, breeding, etc. Cows fed total mixed use the advanced scientific TMR feeding and adopt the most advanced milking machines and cold chain systems to ensure the quality and safety of milk.
