▪ All sales and profit and loss for the market.
▪ Manage the day-to-day communications and operations on the joint venture business
with the parent company and the Indian partner.
▪ Leader the expansion and growth of the business for the next five years.
▪ Identify and ensure key industry influencers are aware of and understand technical
aspects of the product.
▪ Develop a strong working relationships with the distribution partner and enable their
sales to grow through the training of their staff and constant support and training.
▪ Develop working relationships with the largest accounts ensuring they are aware of the
latest technology and the best way to optimize the performance from the company’s
▪ Support the activities of the Technical Group to insure efficient, timely product
development and to insure adequate sales support.
▪ Work with company R&D to develop products for the local market.
▪ Work with company and distributor sales staff to identify potential areas for business
▪ Work with Marketing Manager to coordinate development of sales training, advertising
and events for different target markets.


▪ The role should be based in Chennai.
▪ Leadership qualities to take the business to the next level
▪ Sense of sales skill to execute and deliver sales plans.
▪ Ability to understand and communicate technical information as well as deliver public
▪ Ability to analyze business trends and product cycles within the aquaculture industry.
▪ Ability to negotiate and manage distribution partners obtaining a win: win outcome
▪ Knowledge to promote specialty ingredients and ability to demonstrate value (ROI)
▪ Ability to manage and motivate distributors, identify new growth opportunities and
jointly formulate strategies for the market
▪ Ability to effectively communicate with the sales staff, research staff, customers,
distributors and other business contacts.
▪ Ability to comply with work related deadlines.
▪ Ability to remain calm and professional during peak periods of activities.
▪ Ability to operate all necessary office equipment required to accomplish job duties such
as, computers, telephones, fax machines, etc.
▪ Ability to work daily and extended hours as necessary.
▪ Ability to travel extensively within the Indonesian market.

▪ Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or D.V.M. would be preferred.
▪ 10 years of commercial experience in the Indian agribusiness industry and at least 5
years in the aquaculture industry.
▪ English language proficiency preferred
