Key Account Manager-Aqua(ID: 1826)






 Translates the long-term aqua sales strategy in China into defined and quantifiable sales
objectives, goals and definitions of targets (i.e. customers, volumes).
 In conjunction with the Director CHINA, helps to set the budget and is accountable for the
overall management for Aqua commercial sales across Asia Pacific.
 Accountable for the development and execution of detailed customer plans of activities to
pursue, reassess, and ensure sales targets and goals are achieved.
 Ensures development of negotiation and closing plans and attractive value propositions to
selected key accounts as well as through distribution.
 Drive key account management and planning, including understanding customer decision
making processes, delineating organizational structures for each account, and determining
how best to align the company value proposition with the customer’s key needs.
 Comfortable with the technicalities of the aqua industry and in presenting company’s aqua
value proposition, which will include details of the Mode of Action, benefits, and services in
which the company delivers value to its customers.
 Liase closely with the Marketing and Technical teams to deliver said value proposition and
help build a strong foundation of trust and sustainable growth.
 Initiates, develops and maintains long lasting set of customer relationships with a broad set
of gatekeepers, influencers and decision makers, especially for select key accounts.
 Facilitates strategic intercompany networking between company and customers to provide
value where needed and maintain a high level of service to help customer achieve its goals.
 Develops deep industry/market knowledge and collaborates cross-functionally to identify
and inform emerging industry trends and potential business opportunities.
 Understand and identify customer needs and actively support the design and deployment
of product and service solutions.
 Support the collection and maintenance of key account data via customer relationship
management (CRM) tools, which will be a critical component for effective sales
management and long-term customer growth.


 Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Aquaculture, Animal Biology, Animal Nutrition,
Animal Health or associated subjects
 Demonstrated relationships and track record with key stakeholders in the large key aqua /
shrimp customers across China
 10+ years working experience in aquaculture or shrimp farming company, preferably from a
health or nutrition and / or feed additive background
 Strong and solid experiences on team and people development, resource management
 Understanding company’s business strategy, have ability to translate it into commercial
account plans
 Build up knowledge about product portfolio and services
 Understanding of competitor’s product portfolio as well as customer and market
opportunity spaces to drive relevant solutions that align with business goals
 Logical and systematic thinking
 Animal Health Knowledge
 Strong Leadership for performance management, talent development
