Vietnam’s live black tiger shrimp returned China after the ban

Posted by | January 14, 2014 |

Vietnam’s live black tiger shrimp has been allowed to enter Chinese market after the ban set by the market since October 2012.

Vietnam’s relevant authorities guided exporters inspection and certification procedures of consignments of live black tiger shrimp and live fish products exported to China under new Health Certificate (HC).

To be granted HC by Vietnam’s relevant authorities, seafood exporters to China must provide full information on farms (names, location and codes if available) or names of districts and provinces where fish was caught.

Under China’s requirement, other live farmed fish exported to the market must be sourced from farms which have been granted codes.
