You will be responsible for setting up an effective and efficient sales (support) organisation (including pricing, promotion and conditions policy), in line with the sales strategy, resulting in the agreed quantitative and qualitative sales targets/forecasts. In addition, you will investigate customer needs and translate them into opportunities. In cooperation with Product Managers, you monitor innovation programmes from a customer perspective (lead time, budget, customer requirements)
 Driving business growth on young animal nutrition including new customer acquisition
 Develop sales strategy to deliver short term success, and build long term growth opportunities
 Realization of budget net sales and profitability of customer accounts
 Managing distributors and direct customers within the area SEA (South East Asia), Pakistan, India and NZ
 Responsible for keeping Customer Relationship Management application up to date: customer/prospect contact, visit report, opportunity, competition and relevant information
 Prepare monthly business review, including market insight, competition & segment trend
 Alignment with supply chain and customers to achieve forecast accuracy and on-time delivery
 Market mapping in assigned sales area on customer profiling and competitor landscape
 Contribute to the set-up of the long-term strategic roadmap together with Marketing and R&D


As the area manager SEA, you have extensive experience in the sales and marketing of animal nutrition. In addition, you have the following:
 In the possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in the field of animal nutrition, or have relevant work experience
 A minimum of 5 years working experience in Business to Business
 Regional exposure in Animal Nutrition sales / marketing to SEA
 Demonstrated achievement in Animal Nutrition ingredient sales

 Willingness to travel up to 40% to meet the demands of the role and customer interactions
 Having a deep understanding of Asian cultures
 Strong drive, positive mind-set, and a team player who can also work independently
 Performance and target driven, proven track record
 Excellent communication and networking skills on diverse levels internally and outside the company
