Responsibilites

• Ensure implementation of marketing communication objectives according at regional level.
• Write, proofread and fact-check to source, create, and edit informative and engaging content that is aligned with defined value propositions, consistent with company branding standards, and complies with regulatory requirements.
• Develop or source relevant news, company initiatives etc., and convert into content.
• Media relations at country level.
• Measure and report performance of all digital communications and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) and provide recommendations to improve.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and colleagues to ensure best outcomes
• Coordinate marketing materials collaterals: brochures, presentations, give aways and other similar formats; and managing related production and distribution.
• Ensure coordination of translation activities fit to regional requirements.
• Plan, execution, and measurement of events, e.g., tradeshows, roadshows, customer centric events within the region, closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• In the position as a project lead, work closely with internal (and external) event planning committees and client groups to define event goals, objectives and specific implementation plans that promote the organizations brand.
• Management of events related logistics as required (including shipping, hotel bookings).
• Oversee procurement purchasing and client service needs regarding catering, audio-visual, security and rental needs for events.
• Source venues, acquire supporting technology and coordinate development of materials to execute a quality event.
• Identify all aspects of event risk assessment and crisis management planning strategies. This includes, but is not limited to, security for the event.
• Pre-event and onsite communication with delegates.
• Develop and ensure that event planning calendar is updated and strictly applied.
• Assist with researching and submitting speaking/presenting opportunities for symposiums, abstracts, etc.
• Negotiate agreements with outside providers and subcontractors to ensure highest quality of service at lowest possible price.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on digital marketing or communications related field, with at least 3 years of work experience and demonstrated effectiveness in marketing in a B2B environment, preferably within the animal nutrition or health, or related industry.
• Fluency in Chinese and English (verbal and written) is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills to consult with internal and external stakeholders to understand company product and programme features and functionalities and find customer-centric solutions to meet business goals. This requires a capacity to understand technical information and develop relevant
communication to a variety of target audiences.
• Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices and expertise in multiple social media platforms, and familiar with the Chinese digital landscape.
• Graphic design skills a plus, but not mandatory.
• Ability to travel as needed to successfully perform position responsibilities.
