▪ Oversee all aspects of plant operations including safety of the employees, environmental and regulatory compliance, manufacturing reliability and capacity, operational efficiencies, product quality, customer satisfaction, and cost
▪ Responsible for driving results: improved performance, plant asset utilization and positive employee relations with team members. Work closely with cross-functional teams including Commercial team, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, R&D, etc. to ensure sufficient communication and provide operational support to achieve regional strategy target.
▪ Manage Emergency Response/Crisis Management Plan for site. Support environmental sustainability and social responsibilities in agriculture and human health.
▪ Establish and maintain appropriate site certifications (e.g. ISO, GMP, and related location/country specific requirements) to support global quality manufacturing of products. Support changes to quality policies and SOPs as appropriate. Maintain operations in compliance with the Quality Management System.
▪ Develop and manage operational plans to produce quality product at S&OP volumes and manage plant spending to achieve target conversion cost. Support product maintenance and product development for the plant site by following the PMR and PDML processes.
▪ Adhere to the Management System (NMS), Integrity System (NIS) and all policies and procedures. Maintain good relationships with local authorities, as well as, with veterinary and feed authorities. Responsible for ensuring that operating procedures and specifications are in place for all projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory and governmental requirements/laws.


▪ Engineering, process technology, food technology or chemistry degree (Bachelor/Master) preferred. Over 10 years (w/Master’s degree) or 15 years (w/Bachelor’s degree) of manufacturing experience. At least 5 years of management experience over production, operations in relevant industry.
▪ Thorough technical knowledge of safety and environmental regulations. Knowledge of China feed regulations are of advantage. Effective English skills in addition to the local language. Strong ability to work cross-functionally in a global organization and communicate with all levels of an organization, including technical and operational.
▪ Statistics training, familiarity with statistical process control. Familiarity with SAP, or other ERP systems. Ability to analyze, trouble shoot and solve issues with creativity and ingenuity. Appropriate tenacity and assertiveness; ability to achieve business unit goals.
▪ Strong production planning and project management skills. Ability to manage a variety of projects and processes in parallel. Proven working knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and quality management systems.
▪ Strong cost accounting and financial management skills for managing manufacturing schedules, budgets and reporting.
▪ Proven communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with government agencies and community representatives.
▪ Strong leadership skills to set direction and keep multicultural, multifunctional teams reaching regional and global objectives. Ability to work effectively with resources in other world areas.
