Responsibilites
To be a leader to assist our team to grow and improve their performance through your knowledge, communication and people skills
You will require great people skills and first class leadership skills with the production team management as well as cross-departmental liaison and synergy creation
Establish and continuously improve a quality and cost focused production management structure in Company
Setup and develop a production KPI system which is in line with corporate strategy and implement such system in managing the production system
Drive production performance in terms of quality and cost to be in line with EWG performance standard
Plan / design / implement/ monitor/deliver new farm/hatchery investment plan with the approval of the board of directors
Carry out annual production budget and 3-year rolling production plan meanwhile monitor and feedback the progress and variance in between actual and budgeted production performance
Understand and support the implementation of Corporate bespoke production software
Liaise with Group production experts in technical support, site and lab audit
Qualifications
Excellent knowledge / understanding / experience in poultry breeding stock production and rearing:
Layer / Broiler breeding stock management and hatchery overall management solid experience 5 year+
Good knowledge in production planning / bio-security/ flock monitoring & vaccine program / laboratory management / animal welfare
On site practical experience combined with analytical mind
Experience of driving performance via target management / KPI system with the support of data analyzing tools
Good command of both spoken and written English, fluent oral communication is essential for this role
Some basic finance knowledge is a strong plus
Self-motivating, team working and strong cultural awareness with excellent inter – personal skills
Comfortable to travel intensively in China to various poultry farms
