Responsibilites

 Create and yearly maintain the Industry Meat Sales Strategy (3-5Y) Plan for China.
 Create and execute Operational Sales Plan (1Y).
 Collaborate with Industry Sales Director and other stakeholders to align on strategies and plans, and ensure compliance with established processes and quality standards.
 Ensure requested quality and timeliness of monthly rolling S&OP forecasting- as well as correct commercial (progress-) reporting and opportunity maintenance- by the team individuals.
 Ensure successful progress in the execution of the applicable regional- and/or account-strategies as well as achieving the agreed overall yearly customer-visit activity per team-member.
 Ensure that the AMs and ASMs are skilled for their roles and responsibility, using the Sales Skills Matrix as a reference and maintain the skills-matrix accordingly.
 Manage, support, develop and appraise your team members (AMs and ASMs) in order to achieve the individually agreed year commercial targets.
 Match team activity planning and market coverage to Industry Sales Operational- and Strategic Plans for the Region.
 Work with and support your team-members and back office in determining the real customer need and developing and selling matching solutions, and ensure correct opportunity progress reporting.
 Aim of this role is to drive the sales and to increase our market share year on year, while meeting our customers’ requirements.
 You will be doing operational sales activities for (key) Accounts in your region as well as being involved in operational sales of key opportunities.
 Present, represent and deliver company’s value proposition even in a price sensitive environment.
 Leadership in building and maintaining strong and sustainable customer relationships.
 Stay abreast of market trends and industry landscape changes, and make timely adjustment to strategies and plans as relevant.

Qualifications

 You have a bachelor degree within a technical area (preferably mechanical engineering).
 After your studies, you have been working 8-10 years in a capital good sales environment as a sales executive, sales manager, service or marketing director, and you have the ambition to develop yourself further as a Regional Sales Director in a 1st class market leading company.
Ideally, you have experience in selling equipment for the food sector, but this is not a must.
 As a person, you are result driven, service oriented with an entrepreneurial drive. You have excellent communication skills and you can think strategically.
 Ability to effectively present, negotiate and influence all levels and various stakeholders of the company.
 Furthermore, you are a good people manager and can manage the performance of your team.
