Responsibilites

 Analyse market potential and installed base for China region with the objective of building sales and growth plan for after sales services
 Build and manage customer-oriented team to reach sales and customer satisfaction targets as defined in the global and regional strategy and plan
 Preparation of the primary budget for Services and Spare Parts for the whole region, with the Service Director and Sales Management Team, to include revenue, cost, GM, growth etc.
 Creating a long term sales plan (How) that is included into the regional operational plan and used for handshake with the Industries. Implement a process in the region to ensure that the short-term sales targets are reached and that the installed base is covered
 Ensure effectiveness of the team by applying both global processes and (local) best practices within the sales team
 Direct responsibility for all staff reporting into the role; meaning:
 Setting measurable targets and create a performance culture of continuous improvements
 Coaching the staff to ensure the goals are achieved
 Reviewing performance against agreed performance criteria (KPI) and perform annual review.
 Dealing with shortfalls, and initiate performance turn –around actions
 Input to RSD on incentives or promotions
 Communicate to HR/RSD any concerns
 Building trust, credibility, and show leadership at all times
 Visits to Customers with the Customer Care Managers, assist with closing orders, evaluate the visits, give feedback 1:1, and set tasks for coming months

 Develop and maintain the relationship with customers, through own frequent on site visits
 Managing and maintain pipeline of opportunities, their status, and follow up activities, as it relates to customers
 Collect and analyse competitive pressures and develop winning strategies
 Continuous product, process, and equipment training for self and for the team
 Proactively assist in building an overview of the competitive landscape and add information to the competitor file
 Seek support from industry/regional teams and escalate as necessary, according to defined process and time
 SBM is expected to travel frequently within a region and/or internationally as and when required

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities:
 Excellent Sales and negotiation skills and is a Successful Sales Manager, who is leading sales teams today in an aftermarket services environment
 A naturally outgoing individual with a profound ability to interact with customers and teams alike
 Has strong people management skills and is self-motivated
 Proven experience together with a strong desire to lead a team of customer facing staff
 Ability to comprehend, company service products and concepts, and consult with Customers and colleagues on what possibilities company can offer
 Analytic as well as results driven and goal oriented person
 Experience with highly sophisticated food processing equipment or food processing is preferred or experience from other machine or technology industries

Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
 Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and/or Business
Administration or similar preferred
 Excellent written and spoken English
 Analytical, IT literate with use of databases and spreadsheets
 ERP system experience as user and as coach to subordinates.
 5 years’ experience of Sales Management of capital goods or specific aftermarket Sales Management roles
