Responsibilites

 Work closely and strategically with the sales team to win and grow business with key accounts by identifying customer needs, evaluating opportunities, establishing strategies, and implementing actions to meet business objectives.

 Creation and communication of the customer needs and development plan to provide context and details as to the support needed from other functions (e.g. Sales, Product Management, Marcom).

 Support customers by making recommendations for process improvements, adjust equipment (such as micro-ingredient addition, batch mixing, grinding, liquid application, conditioning, and pelleting equipment) to changing environmental conditions and raw materials, and solve problems to assist customers to optimise production and quality of finished feeds by using products, programmes or services.

 Identifying gaps between value proposition of Feed Quality products and programme and the requisite value proposition for the identified customer segments and being stakeholder in the development of the Validation Trials to fill these gaps.

 Develop and implement customer trail protocols and ensure trials are managed in accordance with agreed protocols to demonstrate the value of company products, programs and services. Analyse trial results, report findings, demonstrate benefits and make recommendations to customers.

 Ability to read, analyse and communicate technical information, including preparing technical articles and presenting at industry events and customer meetings.

 Training internal and external stakeholders to improve their knowledge and skills.

 Investigate and resolve customer product technical problems.

 Be a support desk for Regional Feed Quality-related issues.

 Provide input into improvements to existing products, go-to-market strategies and services or make recommendations for new products and services that best fit customer needs and business goals.

 Give feedback about performance of company products, competitor products and market developments.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 Proven success in a similar position (at least 5 years) within the feed milling industry

 Demonstrated success in working with a sales team and achieving sales through effective use of technical support

 A degree in Feed Technology, Animal Science, Animal Nutrition or similar

 Be viewed by the feed industry as a credible and reliable source of information, and able to establish and maintain long-term relationships

 Knowledge of feed milling standards, equipment, processes, best practices and QA systems, such as FAMI-QS.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially listening

 Technical understanding of pig and poultry feed production (a knowledge of ruminant and aquaculture feed production would also be an advantage)

 Fluently communicate in English – verbally and in writing is mandatory

 Effective presentation skills

 Commercial attitude

 Project management

 Experience with MS Office
