Title: Technology Application Manager – Ruminant

Report to: China Technology Lead

• TAM for Ruminant will apply technology into local market, in order to continuously ensure thchnology competitiveness of local business in the CFN China. In addition, based on understanding of using technology application to creat technical advantage, TAM should train and guide local related teams to ensure all the applied technology is properly utilized in market.

Principal Accountabilities

Lead and execute CAN technology application for CFN China

• Utilize internal and external information to fully understand CAN technologies, basic animal nutrition and physiology, as well as farm management skills.
• Closely work with regional TDM to ensure the consistency of local business development stretegy and CAN technology deployment plan.
• Work with China TAC (Technology application Center) to develop best fit application to China market
• Lead SPRprocess for all Ruminant products, follow up SPR execution.

Support sales and marketing

• Closely work with sales/marketing team to find technical opportunities for China
• Keen sense of marketing insight, focus on market and competitors changes;
• Support local team to solve customer complaints and feedbacks.
• Prepare proper technical solution for application, train local team to fully understand those technology and serve for future sales/marketing work.

Training

• Develop technical training materials (nutrition, management, disease, etc…) for local team to fit the CFN China customer
• To be a technical information resource for local requirement
• -Communicate with regional or global TDM to present local training requirement.

Design proper feed product to fit local business and market.

• Develop and champion the Gold Standard and product development process for Ruminant
• Understand and utilize CAN formulation tools include MAX that are applicable to Ruminant
• Conduct trials for customers’ requirement.
• Lead collection of POP and give technical evaluation for local business
• Maintain POPs database for local or regional business;
• Provide local ingredient IAP evaluation.

Requirements

• PhD or Master in Ruminant Nutrition or related field
• 3 years experience in research facility, feed industry or dairy production
