Posted by | December 2, 2013 |

Over this week, the prices of hog in Northern Vietnam increased from VND 45,000 to VND 50,000 per kg, while the price of good pigs reached VND 52,000 per kg. According to farmers, the cause of this price “fever” is due to increased Chinese imports of pigs along with a more favorable domestic consumption. According to the traders, Chinese will continue to import pigs from now until the Chinese New Year.
